Immersible Ultrasonic Probe / Ultrasonic Vibrating Rod

A vibrating rod is a rod-form transducer for tanks where a flat immersible plate physically will not fit — narrow tanks, deep tanks, tanks with internal structures, and vessels where the only available access is from the top.
Mechanically it does the same job as a plate: it introduces ultrasonic energy into the liquid. The difference is placement freedom. A rod can be positioned where the parts actually are, which in an awkward vessel often produces better coverage than a plate mounted wherever there happened to be a flat surface.
Rods are fully sealed for continuous immersion and are frequently used to add ultrasonics to existing equipment rather than to build new tanks. As with plates, the sizing question is tank volume and soil type, not rod count.
